Join the Friends of the Library

The Friends' History

The Friends formed in 2000 to engage libraryĀ patrons, the community, and organizationsĀ interested in books in programs and servicesĀ that support the library and encourageĀ literacy. In 2001, the group obtained

incorporation from the State of Ohio andĀ registered their 501c(3) status with the IRS asĀ a non-profit organization.Ā Throughout their history, the organizationĀ has provided support to the library.Ā

June Fry, President of the Friends of NewĀ Carlisle Public Library said, "I've always lovedĀ books and being around the library."Ā If you feel the same way, consider joiningĀ the Friends.
