Summer Reading Challenge 2022: Oceans of Possibilities
June 1-July 31, 2022 for Kids & Teens
May 13-August 27, 2022 for Adults
The New Carlisle Public Library’s Summer Reading Program is an annual event that encourages reading for all ages as well as participation in FREE events that encourage life-long learning, curiosity, and creativity.
Instructions for Kids & Teens
Let's read and learn together this summer -- it could not be easier to participate! Simply print & complete one of the reading logs linked at the bottom of this page. While we offer age recommendations, choose the log your child or teen has the greatest interest in. Return the log to the New Carlisle Public Library in June or July for a prize and a chance to win one of our amazing grand prizes, like a Nintendo Switch, or, for teens, a $100 VISA gift card. You can also visit the library in June or July and read to the library fish for a small additional prize!
Kids who prefer to log their reading online can choose Beanstack instead of the paper logs.
Our electronic summer reading program for kids and teens will go live in late May and may be accessed from this website:
or by downloading the Beanstack app on any Smartphone.
